  1. Do you sell your tire chains in pairs?

Yes our tire chains are sold in pairs, so when you order qty 1 you are getting enough chain to cover two (2) wheels.

  2. Why does the price change when I select my tire size?

As the tire chains get larger the costs of the material and labour to build the chains increases. Therefore the retail price also increases. On some of our products we have also defaulted the optional spider bungee to “ON” which adds some extra money to the purchase price.

  3. How much clearance do I need?

Typically you require at least 2 finger widths between your tire and any body parts, suspension or brake components. In some cases you may be limited to the style of tire chains you can use. We recommend reviewing your owner’s manual for your vehicle to see what the manufacturer recommends for using tire chains. You may also want to review our tire chain sizing document here:

    Tire Chain Clearance Information

If you are still unsure please email us with your tire size, vehicle type and intended use and we would be more than happy to help you select an appropriate product for your needs.

  4. My tire size is not shown; can you build me a custom set?

Yes we can build you a custom set of tire chains to fit your tire. We need to have the tire size as stamped on the sidewall of your tire, and if needed we may ask you to measure the tire diameter, tread height and tread width in order to properly build a set of chains for your vehicle. More often than not we can usually use a product that already exists. If we need to build a set of chains please allow a few extra days for shipment.

  5. I received my chains and they are too long or too short. What should I do?

Each of our tire chains is manufactured to fit a wide range of tire sizes. Some adjustments may be needed to properly fit your tire. We recommend you do a trial fit as soon as you get your tire chains to make sure that they fit. If you find that they do not fit to your satisfaction please email us with some photos so that we can provide you with further instructions.

  6. What is your warrantee?

    Please see our warrantee page:

    Terms and Conditions

  7. What is your return policy?

Returns are allowed up to 30 days after delivery as long as they have not been driven on or used in anyway. Shipping back to our warehouse is the responsibility of the consumer. In most cases we will exchange tire chains that do not fit correctly with a set that do, or we may send parts so that you can modify the tire chains you received to fit your vehicle. You must get authorization before sending your tire chains back. Please see our policy page for more information.

  8. What is your exchange policy?

If you are exchanging your tire chains for a different size or product please send your tire chains to our warehouse first. Once we receive your returned goods we will then ship out the new parts. Shipping to our warehouse is the responsibility of the consumer.

  9. How long does it take to ship to “my location”?

In most cases, your order is shipped within 24 hours of receiving payment and will arrive no later than 5 to 7 business days. We use UPS for most shipments, which you can refer to the following map for estimated shipping times to your location.

    UPS Shipping Service Map

If your order includes a custom built part or one of our heavier tire chain sets such as skidder chains please allow extra time for delivery. Email us with any other questions on shipping.

  10. Is local pickup available?

Yes, however our Beaverton warehouse is not setup for retail sales and therefore you will need to purchase your tire chains through the web site first. In the comment section you can add a note stating that you would like to pick up at the warehouse. Once the order is received we will contact you to arrange a time and give you the details for picking up your tire chains.

  11. Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do. During the checkout process you have the option of using our International Checkout partner who will provide you with all of the exporting details.  They will add any extra costs involved with export of our products.

  12. Is express/air shipping available?

Yes, however, in practice we have found that air or express shipping is very expensive, sometimes more than the cost of the tire chains, and is not always guaranteed to arrive on time and therefore it is not generally used.
Please email us for more details.

  13. Do you have installation instructions?

Each set of chains we sell come with installation instructions.  We will post them here once they are available electronically. If you would like a scanned copy please email us.

There are plenty of videos online.  Here is a link to one of our suppliers YouTube channel:            Installation Videos

  14. Can I pay by Check?

Yes you can pay by check, however, please allow up to 10 business days for your check to clear before your tire chains are shipped.

  15. Can I use a purchase order?

Yes you can use a purchase order to buy tire chains from us, provided your company passes our credit check procedure. Please email us to let us know what you would like to buy, so we can provide you with the necessary forms.

  16. Where are your tire chains made?

Our chains are built in our factories located in China. They are built to meet or exceed the North American Chain Manufacturers (NACM) specifications and specifically built to withstand the North American winters and road conditions. Our products are very durable, industrial strength and are used for all applications.
